“At Xiaomi India, our top priority is to enable “Innovation for everyone”. We thrive on offering products that are driven by technological innovation underpinned by great design that can help enhance the consumer’s product experience, lifestyle, and overall well-being,” said Raghu Reddy, Chief Business Officer, Mi India.
The handset maker noted that Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G, Mi 11X Series, received maximum demand, followed by Redmi Note 10S and Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi 9 Series in the mid and value-segment.
Despite component shortages, smartphone sales have seen record numbers this year specially online channels like Flipkart and Amazon. Analysts have said that online channels can garner 53-55% of the market share in the second half of the year.
The sales started last weekend are the most crucial period for smartphone makers since most of the launches and buys happen in the September-November period.
